Fitoor vs Sanam Re:Review |Total Box Office Collection

Katrina Kaif’s Fitoor lags behind its contemporary Sanam Re after the first day collections of the two films were revealed today (February 13). Despite having A-list actors including Katrina and Aditya Roy Kapoor, director Abhishek Kapoor’s film earned a total of Rs. 3.61 cr on the first day, whereas Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam starrer Sanam Re collected Rs. 5.04 cr. Sanam Re is directed by Divya Khosla Kumar.

Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapoor starrer Fitoor did not open to great numbers at the box office as it has managed to collect a mere Rs. 3.61 crore on the first day of its release.

From meeting the fans to dancing at colleges, talking to press and shopping at local markets of the capital, the lead actors of the film indulged in various promotional activities which might have just gone overboard.

It is the box office number that speaks of the films, and this film, which is set in the beautiful locales of Kashmir seems to have lost its charm somewhere. Not opening to really good reviews the Abhishek Kapoor film did not earn as expected on the very first day.

Meanwhile, Pulkit Samrat, Yami Gautam may not have the big stars element in the film but the love story set in a small town has definitely more power than its contemporary Fitoor. The film has done well at the box office on its first day as its earned Rs. 5.04 cr on the first day itself.

This is the first time that Yami Gautam was seen romancing Fukrey actor Pulkit Samrat on screen and their sizzling chemistry has done wonders in attracting crowds to the screens.

Directed by Divya Khosla Kumar, the film which also features Rishi Kapoor showcases a love triangle between Yami, Pulkit and Urvashi Rautela.
